CavPack12 Calling Features
Part of the Cavalier difference is the long list of standard calling
features you get with your residential phone service. Other phone
companies make you pay monthly fees for each feature or every time
you use one. Not
with Cavalier! You get...
Voice Mail - Answers your phone calls while you're
away, on the Internet, sending a fax or taking another call. Features
a 30-minute capacity for both new and saved messages, and allows
for remote message review.
MyCavTel - 24 Hour online access to view your
last three statements, review your monthly charges, make online
payments, request simple changes to your account, and add features
to your service.
Caller ID - Know who's calling before you pick
up the phone. Caller ID lets you see the names and telephone numbers*
of incoming calls on a small display unit or display phone, and
provides a convenient way to manage and track all your incoming
calls.
Call-Forwarding - Call Forwarding lets you send
your incoming calls to another phone number. And Call Forwarding
service allows you to change or program your forwarding number from
your home phone.
Remote Call-Forwarding - Remote Call Forwarding
lets you send your incoming calls to another phone number. Works
like regular Call-Forwarding, however, this service allows you to
change or program your forwarding number from a remote location
instead of just from your home phone.
Three-Way Calling - Three-Way Calling allows you
to connect three people with just one call. It's a time saver -
one three-way call does it all - avoid "phone tag". You
can call locally or long distance to connect with both in the same
call.
Call Waiting - Call Waiting allows you to let
your important calls come through by using a special tone to let
you know that someone else is calling you while you're on the phone.
Just briefly press your telephone receiver or flash button and you
can answer your second caller. To return to your first caller, just
press the receiver or flash button again.
Repeat Dialing (*66 ) - Don't let a busy signal
slow you down. *66 will automatically dial a busy number for up
to 30 minutes. Once the line is free, *66 will alert you with a
ring and connect you automatically. You can use *66 to place calls
to more than one busy number at a time.
Last Call Connect *69 - *69 can connect you with
the last incoming call you received. *69 will provide either (1)
information regarding your last incoming call, and the option to
dial the caller back, or (2) the ability to return the last incoming
call. *69 also works if you have Call Waiting, and hear a second
call, but don't want to interrupt your conversation.
Speed Dialing 8 - Allows you to have easy and
immediate access to family, friends, emergency and other important
numbers. No more searching for address books. No more dialing several
digits for every call. Speed Dialing 8 connects you in an instant
by letting you dial one digit instead of seven or 10 numbers.
Anonymous Call Rejection - Allows you to reject
calls from callers who have blocked the display of their telephone
numbers from a Caller ID device.
Call Blocking - This service blocks unwanted calls
and interruptions. Call Block lets you select up to 6 phone numbers
from your calling area to be blocked from reaching you. You can
also block incoming calls placed from the last calling number, even
if the number is unknown. A blocked caller will hear a recording
saying you are not presently accepting calls.

Telemarketing Block: Intercept "private", "unknown"
or "anonymous" calls as indicated by your caller ID. The
Blocker will ask them to identify themselves. The name of the caller
is recorded and you have the choice to accept the call, send it
